More than 145 bln rubles of federal budget were involved into Vologda region economics during the past 6 years. Funds were engaged into implementation of largest infrastructure projects of the region and towards fulfillment of May presidential decrees.
Within two years, a bridge across the Sukhona river in Nyuksensky district (Vologda region) will be renovated. Works to be performed in 2018-2019, respectively, and the initial maximum contract price is about 150 million rubles.
Vologda co-investors - participants of unfinished shared apartment buildings construction (in Kuvshinovo on 6/8 Sosnovaya Street, in Aleksino on 4, 1 Raduzhnaya Street, and the Alykh Roz lane) - requested to speed up the search for land for potential investors.
Mechanical engineers of Vologda and Rybinsk plan to "do business" together. Representatives of Vologda machine-building enterprises have visited Rybinsk. The initiators of the business mission to industrial center of Yaroslavl region were the city branch of the "Vologda region Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs" and Association "Vologda region Machine-building enterprises".
In Vologda region several large investment projects of plywood production are currently being implemented (in Veliky Ustyug, Sokol, Gryazovets and Cherepovets). Due to the increase in production volumes of demand for plywood types, wood processors expect to not only stay, but also expand their presence in sales markets: both in Russia and abroad.

Negotiating platform will work on a mini-conference "Cooperation of the woodworking industry". The event will be held on April 17 in Cherepovets.
In April 2018, the event "Practical conference concerning the application of public-private partnership mechanism in Vologda region" is planned.
Anton Koltsov (First Governor Deputy, Chairman of Vologda region Government) visited two large machine-building enterprises of the region - the Optical-Mechanical Plant and the Special Bearings Plant - where he held meetings with management and discussed the machine-building industry matters and the issues of personnel security.
